Upcoming LLWS Activities
Tree Planting at Trexler Game Preserve, October 21 – 9 am to noon
LLWS is teaming up with Wildlands Conservancy to plant trees in two locations at Trexler Game Preserve. We will meet in Trexler Nature Preserve by the elk and bison pens. There will be digging required and some significant lifting. Open to adults and youth 12 years and over accompanied by their parent. Tools and gloves will be provided but feel free to bring your own. Wear sturdy shoes, long pants and weather appropriate clothing. Bring you own water. Please Reach out using the contact form, if you or your group want to pitch in for this event or have questions. Stream Cleanup, Trout Creek in Allentown, October 28, 2023 – 9 am to noon
LLWS will be partnering with City of Allentown to host a litter cleanup of of Trout Creek in Allentown starting near the South 4th Street parking area. Time will be 9-Noon on a Saturday. We will meet at Pavilion at Camp Olympic to finalize upcoming fall projects and set up clean up team crew leaders. Join us.
Also All are invited to elect our first ever Board of Directors. Join us for this new step forward for our group.
