Join us for BHCWA Community Day on August 22, 2026 from 10am to 2pm!

The Bertsch-Hokendauqua-Catasauqua Watershed Association protects, restores, and promotes stewardship of the waters and tributaries of the Lehigh River between Catasauqua Borough and the Lehigh Gap. We offer community education programs on watershed management and support local, state, and federal programs that apply best practices in conservation and water resource management.

Protect
Our activities help keep the waters of our local creeks cold and clean, making them a haven for native fish and other wildlife.

Enhance
We carry out streambank plantings and watershed clean-ups to enhance natural ecosystems.

Steward
Our volunteers do community outreach and education on watershed issues. We also advocate for watershed protection with local governments.
